Why No Polyester

Your Vengeance of the Golden God Tee is made from 100% cotton and not a poly blend. Here's why that matters to your health.

Graphic Provenance

The artwork on your Vengeance of the Golden God Tee derives from the December 1950 cover of the periodical Amazing Stories, featuring a short story by an author writing under the “house name” E.K. Jarvis, with cover art by James B. Settles.

The cover story begins with a classic setup: Three archaeologists are deep in a subterranean excavation. When they breach a sealed door that has been shut for 2,000 years, they find a massive, imposing idol — the "Golden God." As is common in 1950s pulp, the science of archaeology quickly clashes with the supernatural. The "vengeance" mentioned in the title refers to a curse left behind by an ancient civilization that isn't as dead as the dust suggests.
